Meet the team

My name is Alena and my studio is located in Inverin, overlooking the Atlantic ocean, and the mountains and bogs of Connemara. My pottery assistants are my 3 cats, Finnegan, Alfie and Yeti.

I am French, Russian and Ukrainian, happily settled down in Ireland for 6 years. I've learnt pottery in Galway after studying illustration in Paris. I work with stoneware clay, inspired by the landscape around me to create functional, mostly wheel-thrown pottery and sculptures.
